How It Works
When you visit our clinic for a TB test, here’s what to expect:
Day 1:
A small amount of testing solution (PPD) is injected just under the skin on your forearm. The test is quick and virtually painless.
Day 2 or 3:
You return to the clinic within 48–72 hours so our provider can check the injection site for a reaction. If the area is raised or swollen, further evaluation may be needed. If not, you’ll receive your signed clearance form.
If your job or school requires a two-step TB test, the process is repeated a second time about a week after the first.
